Our client is seeking a driven, self-starting Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their growing team.
About the Client
Our client is a full-service construction management company helping clients define and manage the scope, schedule, budget, and completion of new construction projects, expansions, and rehabilitations. They focus on efficiency, client value, and transparent communication.
About the Role:
The Assistant Project Manager works closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Maintain project safety measures.
• Assist with project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Purchase subcontractor and supplier packages within budget.
• Maintain site presence to assess progress and needs.
• Coordinate subcontractors and manage paperwork, permits, and licenses.
• Provide updates on safety, budget, and schedule.
• Close out projects and compile operations & maintenance manuals.
• Attend, document, and present at weekly project meetings.
Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in construction management or related field.
• 2-4 years experience with a Bachelor’s or 6-10 years with an Associate’s.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations; OSHA 10/30 preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to travel regularly to job sites.
