Senior Project Manager

Lead high-impact energy and environmental projects that help power the future. We're looking for a Senior Energy & Environment Project Manager with experience in renewable energy, oil and gas, or electrical transmission projects to provide technical leadership, manage multidisciplinary teams, and deliver environmental consulting services from planning through execution.

What You'll Do

  • Lead mid- to large-scale environmental and energy infrastructure projects, from opportunity development through delivery.
  • Drive execution from kickoff through planning, environmental review, safety analysis, and implementation.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, staffing, and budgets, maintaining accurate metrics and forecasts.
  • Guide project strategy and technical design to meet client objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee financial performance, including billing, status reporting, QA/QC, and project closeout.
  • Develop and manage competitive proposals as Proposal Manager and primary client contact.
  • Lead environmental permitting and regulatory coordination across federal, state, and municipal processes.
  • Build client relationships and support business development in renewable energy, oil and gas, and transmission markets.
  • Represent the firm in industry associations and community initiatives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

     

    What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Studies, Planning, Geology, Environmental/Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental project management, consulting, renewable energy permitting, and compliance.
  • Experience with energy projects (solar, wind, BESS, oil & gas, utilities).
  • Strong knowledge of environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, including local zoning/planning review and coordination with state and county agencies.
  • Experience preparing environmental permit applications, regulatory documentation, and land development plans per applicable state subdivision/land development requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Experience with environmental compliance audits and assessments across multiple industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong critical thinking, judgment, and organizational skills; proactive and deadline-driven.
