Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Senior Account Manager who excels in identifying and closing new business opportunities while fostering growth within our existing client base. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding client challenges, crafting unique strategies tailored to each account, and aligning solutions to their needs. This role requires an individual passionate about delivering exceptional service and value to customers.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and maintaining long-term customer relationships. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders such as Solutions Architects, Delivery, and Development teams. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.
The successful candidate will work remotely, serving clients in Southeast and other assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and assess customer needs.
- Actively pursue new sales through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their goals and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on products and services.
- Generate and maintain reports with sales and financial data.
- Ensure availability of necessary resources for sales and demonstrations.
- Participate in exhibitions and conferences on behalf of the company.
- Negotiate and close deals, addressing any complaints or objections.
- Collaborate with team members to drive success and achieve targets.
- Gather and relay customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Senior Account Manager or similar role.
- Expertise in Utility IOU CAPEX/OPEX, Transmission and Distribution for Electric and Gas sectors.
- Familiarity with AEC solutions supporting Utility Transmission and Distribution projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience (Salesforce) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Fast learner with a passion for sales.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
Compensation:
- On-target earnings (OTE) of $175,000-$200,000, depending on sales performance, with uncapped commission potential for top performers.
